Carlotta had ridden full-speed from the Viridian Forest as fast as her legs would pedal, and she'd been lucky enough not to have met any wild pokemon or trainers along Route 3. Now, though, she rushed into the Pokemon Center and quickly requested that her pokemon be healed. It was almost twenty minutes later when they were returned to her. She was so relieved that they weren't harmed. Finally, she left the Pokemon Center. She was here to get a gym badge, after all - but she supposed she could stop into the museum for a look-see first. After all, her pokemon didn't seem all that eager to battle again just yet - for what should have been obvious reasons.

Carlotta took her Squirtle in and had the nurse fix her up. Then she headed outside and began to teach Squirtle Rest. By the time Squirtle had completely mastered the move, dusk had come. They'd have to spend the night in a hotel. They headed off to do so.
